Wake Up America! Your Liberty is at Stake.

16 Ounces is a pound anywhere on the planet. It doesn’t matter if it is on the left or the right side of the street. What if you were given the choice of a tall glass of ice cold gasoline, a rat poison milkshake, or an amusing walk down a razor blade slope into lake filled with witch hazel and a school of piranha? Is one form of death better than the other? Well maybe the talk of death is a bit animated, but you understand my point. Each of the scenarios I mentioned above are forms of death, and I don’t want to choose from a field of bad just to say that I chose and was a part of the process. What I am talking about is the proverbial “lesser of two evils” cliché in the 2008 US Presidential election. The “lesser of two evils” is still evil. I am not necessarily calling the candidates evil, but if the candidate’s policies are a sweet, covert and warmed over version of an ideology that would overtly be deemed as reprehensible to liberty, then I believe that we should investigate their policies and belief systems a bit more thoroughly. As Edmund Burke once said, “Those who don't know history are destined to repeat it.” This is a philosophical difference, and we need to know what we believe, what the candidates believe, what they are saying, how they say it, and how they legislate currently, as well as in the past.

In the US Presidential race, we see two parties vying for delegates and superdelegates by stating their own platforms, fighting off attacks, and finding ways to magnify the flaws of their opponents. This is just how most people play politics. Meanwhile, Madison Avenue public relations firms are getting rich and having a field day changing images and repackaging the same philosophies right before your eyes. “There is nothing new under the sun.” (Ecclesiastes 1:9)

Television was our chief tool in selling our policy.” –Richard Haas, President of the Council on Foreign Relations

"Our job is to give people not what they want, but what we decide they ought to have."Richard Salent, former president, CBS News

Unfortunately, we are living in a feel good age, where it doesn’t matter what’s going on, as long as you’re cool, socially accepted, and looking good. This is the apparent mindset of the American public. If you ask the average person what socialism or communism is, if they know how to count back change from a cash register, or who the Governor of their state is, more times than not, they will give you this glazed over, deer stunned in the headlights look. Then, when they finally snap out of it, they will say some silly remark, name call and keep moving. I must admit that Barack Obama is a very inspiring, well-spoken and is a relatively nice looking man. But what does that matter when it comes to principles and our civic duty? I have met and spoken with many people online and in person about the 2008 election and most people are just caught up in the hype of the primaries and the caucuses. Needless to say, a very small percentage of people actually understand politics, law and/or history.

As I listened to Barack Obama’s speech the other night from Houston, Texas, I also listened to all of the applause that continually thundered through the Toyota Center. I am focusing on Senator Obama because it appears that he has the momentum, and is a seemingly more believable agent of change. Hillary Clinton is perceived as the Washington insider. In actuality, she would be the new boss, same as the old boss; and is trying to continue the Bush/Clinton team in the executive branch from 1980 (Bush Sr. as VP) to 2016.

A few things that Senator Obama called for in that speech in Houston:

  • raising the minimum wage rates in line with inflation
  • making healthcare affordable for middle class working families
  • subsidizing healthcare for those who can’t afford it.

In the first mentioned point, Senator Obama speaks about inflation, but never addresses the cause of inflation. Wages don’t need to be fixed, inflation needs to be fixed. It has nothing to do with raising wages, which ultimately leads to higher priced goods and services. Inflation is chiefly caused by a fiat counterfeit system that adds paper notes with no intrinsic value to our money supply. The average citizen has to go and earn money at a job working for 40-70 hours per week; meanwhile, the central banks can just print dollars at virtually no cost, and then can charge interest on the repayment of that money. If there is a default on the loan, the banks foreclose on tangible assets. Who wins in that system? The big banks (and their shareholders) who issue the currency, of course.

"Give me control of a nation's money and I care not who makes her laws."-- Mayer Amshel Rothschild

The second and third points deal with Healthcare, which the government has absolutely no authority to handle. Life and maintaining life is a private and individual matter. Since our individual lives come from God, we are all individually accountable to Him for how we care for and present our bodies. Healthcare is not a matter of the State; nor is my diet or exercise regimen, etc. So why does Presidential candidate, Barack Obama, want to forcibly enroll us in a healthcare system and forcibly steal our money (taxation) in order to pay for (subsidize) someone else’s healthcare? Well, Hillary Clinton goes a step further in her coercion, and if you don’t buy into the government’s healthcare program, she will have your wages garnished. That came out in an interview with George Stephanopolous on ABC’s “This Week” on February 3, 2008.

In short, Senators Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are, in principle, socialists. That isn’t a bad term; it’s just an ideological system of governance. However, it happens to be an enemy of freedom, and a kissing cousin to tyranny. Socialism, communism, and fascism, etc. deal with government control, while true free-markets deal with allowing the people the freedom to bargain, barter and/or exchange amongst themselves with no threat of intervention, taxation, regulation or penalty. Tyrannical governments always lead to an uprising of the people in pursuit of liberty.

Whenever any form of government becomes destructive to these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government.”--US Declaration of Independence

Rebellion to Tyrants is Obedience to God.”-- Benjamin Franklin

Most people have no concept of tyranny because they are either not students of history or never lived under a tyrannical government. But history is clear and the philosophical writings of Karl Marx’s Communist Manifesto are very demonstrative. If you read the ten planks of the Communist Manifesto, it is blatantly obvious that most of characteristics of a Communistic form of government are already going on in 21st century America (and have been for decades). Again, this is not good for personal liberty.

Like I said, socialism, communism and fascism are schools of thought, ideologies. It doesn’t mean that anyone who subscribes to the tenets of these ideologies is sinister. But we need to properly label the mechanisms that are in place in this country.

  • Socialism can be defined as the means of producing and distributing goods being owned collectively or by a centralized government that often plans and controls the economy.
  • Communism advocates the "collective ownership of property and the organization of labor for the common advantage of all members."
  • Fascism uses a central authority (at times corporations) to maintain control, but "terror and censorship" are common.

Do you want to produce and to be productive, while an unproductive and bureaucratic government uses your resources for their own benefit, and the benefit of others without your consent? If someone is going to get my resources, it should be at my discretion. If it is at my discretion, it is called charity. If it is withdrawn from my paycheck without my consent, it is called theft. You and I were created to be free and sovereign beings, not property of the State to be fleeced like sheep at any given time.

Let’s look at a satirical scenario to understand the principles of governance even more:

Two Cows

SOCIALISM: You have two cows. The State takes one and gives it to someone else.
COMMUNISM: You have two cows. The State takes both of them and gives you milk.
FASCISM: You have two cows. The State takes both of them and sells you milk.
CAPITALISM: You have two cows. You sell one and buy a bull.
FREE MARKET: You have two cows. You do whatever you want with the cows; keep them, milk them, sell them, breed them, or let someone borrow them. It’s your business and property.

Do you see the difference in these ideologies? It’s government control vs. you controlling your own financial affairs. You should be free to make the right or wrong decisions without the threat of someone interfering with your right to choose your own path. So let’s not get sucked into popularity contests, ethnic pride, the “lesser of two evils,” and emotional gender ties during this 2008 election. We should all be people of principle and conviction. Our right to vote was paid for with the blood, sweat and tears of those who died and laid the groundwork for the lives that we all live and enjoy today. Don’t let their sacrifice be in vain by making emotional decisions, rather than taking a principled stance on the issues. Why are you voting for your candidate of choice? Remember, socialism in Europe is still socialism in America. The Democratic and Republican candidates are promoting Socialism; but no one is bold enough to admit this because it isn’t politically correct to do so. Don’t be fooled and don’t get caught up in cheerleading; stand your principled ground, get out there and make your voice heard for truth.

Author’s conclusion: My analysis and research has led me to encapsulate this article into a simple analogy. There are many horses running in the race, and a tiny cabal of high-level bureaucrats owns every horse. They fund, strengthen, support and bet on all of the horses. What choice is there for the people in the grandstands who want to vote outside of the establishment structure? The game is fixed because the people are not holding the system accountable; the system is holding the people hostage. This is an upside down game (Picture a pyramid with the widened base and the capstone at the top). The widened base means that the people and the rule of law/principles are the foundation. But today, the capstone is at the base, trying to support the top-heavy structure. It’s all about control!!! Wake up, America!!!!! Most of the candidates running for President in both parties are members or associated with think tanks whose agenda is not for ensuring that America is sovereign, prosperous and free. One think tank in particular is the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR).

The main purpose of the Council on Foreign Relations is promoting the disarmament of U.S. sovereignty and national independence and submergence into an all-powerful, one world government.”--Rear Admiral US Navy, CFR member for 16 years, Judge Advocate General of the Navy 1956-60

Senator Obama, Senator Clinton, and Senator McCain are all members of this group. Governor Huckabee gets his briefing on foreign policy from Richard Haas, President of the CFR and others. Congressman Ron Paul is the only US Presidential candidate that is an opponent of the council, and wants to preserve American sovereignty and personal liberty. Look at the following quotes and see the overt socialism, communism and fascism (overwhelmingly minority control over the masses) espoused in each quote. If the Republicans are promoting socialism that you don’t like, then be consistent and don’t accept the Democrats version of it, as well. It doesn’t matter who is spewing the poison; poison is poison. Live well!

The Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) is the American Branch of a society that originated in England... (and) ...believes national boundaries should be obliterated and one-world rule established.”--Carroll Quigley, former Georgetown professor and mentor of Bill Clinton

The powers of financial capitalism had (a) far-reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements arrived at in frequent meetings and conferences. The apex of the systems was to be the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, Switzerland, a private bank owned and controlled by the world's central banks which were themselves private corporations. Each central bank...sought to dominate its government by its ability to control Treasury loans, to manipulate foreign exchanges, to influence the level of economic activity in the country, and to influence cooperative politicians by subsequent economic rewards in the business world.”- Carroll Quigley, former Georgetown professor and mentor of Bill Clinton

A great industrial nation is controlled by its system of credit. Our system of credit is privately concentrated. The growth of the nation, therefore, and all our activities are in the hands of a few men who, even if their action be honest and intended for the public interest, are necessarily concentrated upon the great undertakings in which their own money is involved and who necessarily, by very reason of their own limitations, chill and check and destroy genuine economic freedom.”--Woodrow Wilson, 28th President of the United States

“……….sovereignty is not only becoming weaker in reality, but that it needs to become weaker. States would be wise to weaken sovereignty in order to protect themselves, because they cannot insulate themselves from what goes on elsewhere. Sovereignty is no longer a sanctuary.”— Richard Haas, President of the Council on Foreign Relations

"In politics, nothing happens by accident. If it happened, you can bet it was planned that way."--Franklin D. Roosevelt (1882-1945), 32nd US President

"The case for government by elites is irrefutable." Senator William Fulbright, Former chairman of the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee, stated at a 1963 symposium entitled: The Elite and the Electorate - Is Government by the People Possible?

An Open Letter of Civic Awareness to Christian Ministries

This is an actual letter that I wrote and am sending to Christian ministries across America as of January 8, 2008. I encourage you to read this letter and forward it to any ministry that you think may benefit from this wake up call.

Dear Ministry Friends:

My name is Brian Ganges (known as BG on my website and radio show) and I am a born-again Christian who resides in Houston, Texas. I have authored several articles and I run my website called B.G. Street (http://insightfortoday.blogspot.com/). The site is dedicated to providing a fresh and insightful Christian perspective to many of today's issues, such as: current events, politics, health related topics, economics, relationships, and principles for daily living. I provide people with relevant information, so that they can think critically about that information, and make sound, reasonable and objective decisions for themselves and their families. I am not a heckler; I am not trying to solicit your ministry for support; I am not trying to change or criticize your ministry; nor am I endeavoring to be a divisive accuser of the brethren. My purpose is to inform and to bring perspective to an important issue that affects all of us: civic awareness.

As one of the Lord’s vineyard workers, I view other ministries and thank God that there are others fighting the good fight of faith and promoting the Gospel in unique ways to the glory of God. The Great Commission is a general work, but I believe that God strategically places us in different areas with a common goal: to be salt, light (Matthew 5:13-14) and the ground and the pillar of the truth (1 Timothy 3:15).

As I observe and interact with our society, I am becoming very concerned about God’s church and the ever-diminishing role we seem to be playing in the civic framework of this nation. America’s roots are clearly Christian; and the community leaders of the 18th and 19th centuries had to be overt and admitted Christians in order to run for any political office. Today, that is not the case; we have some of our most popular and trusted Christian leaders, each creating factions within the Christian community by supporting different Non-Christian and/or Christian political candidates with ideologies that are not Scriptural.

Moreover, many of our most popular and influential leaders don’t even express their thoughts on policy, nor do they articulate the full counsel of God concerning our civic duty. Many of America’s pulpits are silent and many Christians are left to get very biased information from a myriad of unreliable sources (i.e. the mainstream media). Well, the Bible (the law of God) and the US Constitution (the law of the land) are not silent on policy. For the “salt, light, and the ground and the pillar of the truth” (Christian leaders and laypeople) to be uninformed does not bode well for Christian ministries who are responsible for training and teaching the saints according to the Word of God (Ephesians 4:11-15). Many laws are being passed on the city, state and national levels that are affecting us in adverse ways, such as: The Patriot Act, the Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act, eminent domain, and the Law of the Sea Treaty.

God spoke through Hosea that His people perish for a lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6). Furthermore, 1 Chronicles 12:32 states that the tribe of Issachar had understanding of the times; and I truly believe that New Testament believers should also understand the times, cry aloud and spare not (Isaiah 58:1). If Christians aren’t informed and actively involved with our natural world on God’s behalf, then who will ensure that goodness and righteousness is represented in the way that we are governed? Who is going to be the salt, light, and the ground and the pillar of the truth where politics is concerned? Many ministries are 501(3)(c) corporations and are restricted in what they can teach, but there are other legal ways to inform God’s sheep and lambs, as Jesus instructed (John 21:15-17).

Politics governs our lives through various means:

· Taxation (who pays how much)
· Banking/Investing regulations (proper procedures to handle financial transactions)
· Insurance regulations (what kind of insurance you are obligated to have)
· Driving statutes (including speed limits and how to drive)
· Business and commerce regulations (how you must conduct your business)
· Education laws (what must be taught)
· Gun laws (who can own a gun)
· Health laws (how the healthcare industry is supposed to operate)
· Childrearing laws (how you can raise or discipline your child)
· Agricultural laws (how much taxpayer dollars can the farmers get)

Informed and righteous people will ensure that we have righteous laws. I respectfully would like to ask how you, your members and/or ministry partners are informed concerning policies that govern our society. Does your ministry directly inform your members/partners concerning civics (legislation, policy, etc)? Are you partnered with a ministry that stays abreast with current events and/or issues across the political spectrum (not just abortion and traditional marriage laws)? I am not asking with which political party you are registered, or which political candidate(s) you support. The most important thing is that we are all properly informed and that there be no division among us (1 Corinthians 1:10). I am only doing my part to inform the Body of Christ how important it is to get involved and understand our political process. Since God created the institution of government, it only makes sense for Christians to understand how it works and what it meant for Old Testament believers to be “the Elders in the gate.” Everyone doesn’t need to be an activist; but everyone should be a part of the process to ensure that we have righteous people legislating and executing righteous laws for our society.

If you are informing and/or partnering with other people/ministries in order to inform the people of God, then I applaud your efforts. Again, I am not here to be critical, I simply would like to raise the level of awareness in the Church, so that we make sure that the light and the energy that we experience on Sunday morning shines in the halls of justice, as well.

I don’t want to belabor the matter, but I did want to introduce myself and respectfully address my concern(s) with ministries across America. Please continue to do the work that God has entrusted you to do with faith and diligence.

Yours in Christ,

Brian Ganges (BG)

BG’s Presidential Campaign Ad

My name is BG and I approve this message…………………..

I am running for President because…………………well, why not? All we are getting from the current Presidential candidates are a bunch of promises anyway; so I might as well throw my promises in the hat as well, and see what happens. All I can offer you is a “red pill” (from the movie "The Matrix") and an articulate presentation of my platform. After that, it is for you to decide. Don’t tell me that I am not popular enough to be elected, because if you like my message, then you and everyone else who hears and likes my message should vote for me, regardless of what everyone else does.

BG’s Platform
  • I promise to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America to the best of my ability.
  • I promise that the Federal Government will work to defend your life, liberty, property and the pursuit of happiness.
  • I promise that the Federal Government will encourage the States to ignore all Federal Legislation that is not in line with the Bill of Rights. I would also encourage the States to begin reaffirming and reeducating its citizens on true Constitutional governance.
  • I promise to always inform the American people of those elements, foreign or domestic, who cause, block or stonewall anything that will promote your freedom and general welfare.
  • I promise never to send troops to war unless Congress officially declares war. We will never again send our troops to serve in any military capacity under NATO, UN or any other organization.
  • I promise that our northern and southern borders will be fully secured before my four-year term is complete. I will hold press conferences to inform the nation which Representatives are not in compliance with true homeland security.
  • I promise to allow all individuals the right to keep and bear arms without a license. I don’t think that it is fair for only the Government and criminals to have weaponry.
  • I promise that individuals will be able to work free of Federal income taxes. The Federal Government will get its necessary funding from tariffs, imposts, duties, tolls, taxes from gains on corporate activity and constitutionally apportioned taxes.
  • I promise that the Federal Government will never tell you how to educate, how to discipline, or how to raise your children.
  • I promise that the Federal Government will never tell you what you and your family can or cannot eat, or how you manage your family’s health regimen.
  • I promise that the Federal Government will not take your tax dollars and give it to foreign nations, while your families and communities need it more.
  • I promise that the Federal Government will not tell you how to save, invest or spend your money; nor will we penalize you for the decisions that you make.
  • I promise that the Federal Government will allow you to exercise your God-given right to speak, protest, travel and practice your religious beliefs freely.
  • I promise that the Federal Government will never surveillance you and your family with any video/audio devices; nor will we keep a database of information on what types of books you are reading, the medicines you use, the purchases you have made, or any other personal information profiles.
  • I will not promote a National ID card or rights for illegal aliens.
  • I promise that the Federal Government will not allow rogue judges to legislate from the bench.
  • I promise that the Federal Government will not allow any removal of habeas corpus, due process, trial-by-jury or the right to a speedy trial.
  • I promise that the Federal Government will not take your money to fund: science, technology, the arts, research, health, ecology, transportation, education, natural disaster relief, or anything else. If the people want to fund these entities through the private sector, or local and state Government that is Constitutional.
  • I promise that the Federal Government will not take your property through eminent domain.
  • I promise that the Federal Government will not enter into any Unconstitutional trade deals, mergers, agreements, laws, partnerships, treaties or anything else without an open dialogue with the American people and the Congress.
  • I promise that I will never make any dictatorial executive orders.
  • I promise that I will repeal every current executive order.
  • I promise that the Federal Government will not insult your intelligence by redefining what sensible people already know, such as: marriage is one man and one woman; and we were all a fetus once upon a time.
  • I promise that the Federal Government will not put the interests of trans-national corporations and lobbyists above the American people’s general welfare.
  • I promise that the Federal Government will not give subsidies to individuals, corporations, the airline industry, the housing industry, the automobile industry, the banking industry, farmers, the oil companies, pharmaceutical companies, schools, etc.
  • I promise that the Federal Government will cut salaries across the board, starting with mine. I will demand that the Legislative and the Judicial branches do the same, as well as repeal some of their perks and benefits packages. If they do not, I will hold a national press conference and expose everyone who is in favor of this continued wasteful spending.
  • I recommend that Congressional sessions be reduced to 6 months or less, since most of the Federal programs will be handled by the Cities, Counties and States. Legislative budget cuts will be made immediately and the excess money will be sent to the district in the form of taxpayer refunds or bonds for local projects.
  • Both houses of Congress will be fined for: each session day missed on Capitol Hill; and every time a vote is not cast.
  • Congress will never vote on another piece of legislation until every member has read the bill in its entirety. Therefore, there will be no more 100+ page documents sent to the White House for my signature. Every time I find “fat” in the bills, I will have a national press conference and inform the nation who is supporting more outrageous spending. I will help your Representatives be more accountable to you.
  • I promise that the Federal Government will immediately start to liquidate holdings of lands and buildings to private citizens.
  • I promise that the Federal Government will immediately start to deregulate industries and to encourage private sector competition and entrepreneurialism.
  • I promise that I will surround myself with honorable people, not career politicians, Washington insiders, or bureaucrats. I am not knowledgeable about all aspects of Government, so I will defer to the insight and expertise of reasonable and good-hearted people in my life.
  • I promise that I will lead by example, and not control how you live your lives.
  • I promise that the Federal Government will endeavor to make friends with other nations, but never at the expense of the American people.
  • I promise to only nominate truly Constitutional judges and Government officials to the Congress for confirmation.

Ladies and Gentlemen, this is a partial list of what I believe to be Constitutional and Biblical governance. Please join me and help to steer America away from our current state of affairs. Thank you and God bless.

{Author’s thought: Obviously this is just a parody related to the 2008 US Presidential election campaign. Although this is a spoof, the message is not. What sane person wouldn’t like to support my platform? Please support liberty; and let’s not support people based upon ethnic race, voice diction and enunciation, or party affiliation. Let’s support principles that will provide a better future for our children and us. So are you going to vote for principle or media-hype?} Live well!

American Healthcare: Is There a Real Solution to This Crisis?

Look to your health; and if you have it, praise God, and value it next to a good conscience; for health is the second blessing that we mortals are capable of; a blessing that money cannot buy. -- Izaak Walton

Sickness, disease, prevention, and cures are at the foot of American healthcare. Or are they? We have the best medical technology and some of the best healthcare practitioners in the world. Yet we have millions of men, women and children in this country who have to settle for little or no healthcare because they can’t afford to receive the benefits that the bureaucrats have made available to them. Do you think that our politicians would want to have the health insurance coverage that most Americans have? No. So why do most Americans want the Government to fix the problem that the Government has created? Do they have the ability to fix it? Well, we are going to get to the bottom of this, and get some real answers to this real issue.

The healthcare dilemma has been a hot topic in Washington DC for decades and now going into 2008, the healthcare problem has exacerbated into a problem of epic proportions. New diseases, sicknesses, ailments and conditions are being discovered each year and some of the existing conditions are statistically getting worse; and add to that the ridiculous and subjective manner in which our government is handling mental health concerns. What is going on? Why is there such a long and drawn out fight over this issue? Can we get to the root of the problem and fix this? Folks, sometimes if you want something done right, you have to do it yourself. Don’t wait for Washington DC to fix it. You and I need to get informed and take action. There is no need for more taxpayer dollars to be spent on an independent commission study. The problems and the solutions are easy to see, we just have to have the courage to make the right decision and move forward.

From Berit Kjos’ Report on Mental Health we find:

Dr. David Satcher, U.S. Surgeon-General and Assistant Secretary for Health, gave a progress report at a National Healthy People Consortium in November 1998 "We have a clear blueprint in place," he announced. "Currently, 47 states are actively involved in Healthy People 2000 and 'Healthy City and Healthy Community' initiatives are being pursued throughout the country. Hundreds of national organizations have reviewed the Year 2000 objectives and have adopted them as their own."

Dr. Satcher then drew the connection between Healthy Start, Healthy People, mental health and the World Health Organization:

"Every child should be given the opportunity for a healthy start... No priority yet has generated as much interest and enthusiasm as this one on mental health...""...our efforts will be focused on maintaining a system of global health surveillance..."Healthy People 2010 is the United States' contribution to the World Health Organization's call to the nations of the world to renew their commitment to health for all."

(Author’s thought: global health surveillance and health for all? This sounds very caring and loving of them. But what are they really saying? Surveillance is synonymous with control; and “health for all” should make you want to go hide your wallet, because they always expect the taxpayers to fund their little schemes on the front end or the back end [through higher taxes]; and they love to use buzz words and catch phrases so that you can connect with their vision and see that this is for the children’s and the senior’s sake. Now what sane person would be against the children and our senior citizens? Nice try, but I will expose these snakes in a few minutes. So please don’t be fooled by these slick salespeople.)

Children who refuse to conform may be considered handicapped. According to a Teacher Training Manual from the National Training Institute for Applied Behavioral Science:

"Although they appear to behave appropriately and seem normal by most cultural standards, they may actually be in need of mental health care in order to help them change, adapt, and conform to the planned society in which there will be no conflict of attitudes or beliefs."

(Author’s thought: Folks are you seeing what I’m seeing? These people want to label our children as needing mental healthcare, if our child’s behavior or belief system isn’t according to their Teacher’s Training Manual. We teach our children what we want them to learn. This isn’t Nazi Germany, Cuba, Russia or Guatemala. Do you think that these people have the right to do this? It’s a no-brainer, folks. No they don’t.)

In a 1996 speech at The National Children's Mental Health Initiative, Donna Shalala, Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), said:

"From fully immunizing children by age two... to stopping domestic violence, we're working to improve the lives of young people from the cradle to young adulthood. And a strong part of our vision is the mental health of children. We believe that mental health is just as important as physical health ...maybe even more so..."

As head of the DHHS, Shalala helped organize The National Mental Health Services Knowledge Exchange Network (KEN). Ponder its definition for mental health:

"Mental health refers to how a person thinks, feels, and acts when faced with life's situations. It is how people look at themselves, their lives, and the other people in their lives ...and explore choices."

(Author’s thought: I hope that you are seeing the RED ALERTS here. Do you see how these people who espouse to love our children better than us are trying to care for them and raise them for us? No thanks!!!!! They want to improve our lives from the cradle to adulthood? Again, no thanks! When someone goes out of his or her way to be extra nice and helpful, there’s always a string attached. So watch out for these people. I guess this makes these people feel good, and it gives them a sense of community involvement and helping humanity. They are going to subjectively judge how we think, act and feel? Then they will make determinations about our children and us if we have mental health challenges? According to what standard? This is very dangerous, folks. But the onus is on the American people. The bureaucrats don’t take up arms and take over the Government; they use stealth, are very tactful, and they are smiling while they are doing it. They know that most Americans are more concerned with what drugs Britney Spears is going to take next, or how Brad Pitt spent the holidays. Stop letting Madison Avenue advertising cheat you of your life, dreams, and freedom. These people are masters at sleight-of-hand, persuasion, and diversion. Whether it’s the war, healthcare or breakfast foods to eat, these people are going to program you to think their way. Don’t do it, get informed.)

Canadian psychiatrist Brock Chisholm, added:

"Governments will be assisted to formulate, implement, monitor and evaluate mental health policies.”
(Author’s thought: No No No!!!!! We don’t need your help. Go away, please!!!! You don’t own us. If we need your help we will solicit your services. Thank you.)
Last but not least, Hillary Clinton had these kind words to say on June 29, 2004 she said: "We're going to take things from you [the American people] on behalf of the common good."
(Author’s thought: She sounds very caring and loving. Are you seeing a pattern of behavior here? These people are always in the limelight exuding this phony love and regard for us. Many uninformed people, Christians especially, are tricked into accepting this type of behavior because they misinterpret Scripture. I have heard some people say that Jesus was a communist and that the teachings of Christianity are communistic, because Jesus teaches us to share and help our brothers and sisters in need. Well, yes Jesus does teach this, but where they err is that Jesus didn’t teach that principle to the Government; He taught it to individuals and the Church, which makes it charity, not communism. Communism is Government control, and Socialism is its kissing cousin. That’s where everyone misses it!!!!!! The Government has no authority to do this stuff.)

Then, on June 4, 2007 she announced, "I certainly think the free market has failed."
(Author’s thought: The free market works just fine, Mrs. Clinton, but you and the rest of our elected officials have failed to allow the market to be free. The free market has been stifled by Government regulations and subsidies. If we cut those out 100% and the free market fails, then you would be correct. But the free market hasn’t been allow a fair chance to shine: welcome to Business 101, Ma’am.)

The Problems/The Solutions

Let’s look at this issue from a legal and common sense standpoint: no corporate interests and lobbyists money allowed. I will give you some insight and perspective. This, by no means, will be the entire answer, but I do believe it will put us on the right path. If some of these points were to be truly considered, I believe that the spirit of entrepreneurialism and innovation would rise up, and we would see some great things come from the private sector, as far as research, medical breakthroughs and overall wellness is concerned.

First, we have to remember that when you empower others to do your job, then you have relinquished that power and freedom. When this happens, the lost power can’t be taken back without a fight, many times. Humans lust for money and power; it’s just the nature of a decadent society. So we can begin our inquiry into the problems with American healthcare by stating that healthcare is NOT a Federal Government issue; it is a private and personal matter. If your life comes from God, then maintaining the quality of your physical life and mental health is also from God.

There is no Constitutional provision or authority given to the Federal Government to handle the healthcare issue; however, the parameters of the US Constitution do allow the States and the people to address this issue. The problem with healthcare arose when people started to and continue to allow bureaucrats to usurp authority, create monopolies, and then the bureaucrats penalize us if we don’t like the rules they make us follow. It’s actually deeper than that, because there are a few other components involved. Simply put, a person’s health is the individual’s personal business, and however that person wants to handle their own health issues and concerns is between the individual and the individual’s healthcare practitioner.

This means that we don’t need anymore Federal Government regulations and/or subsidies for this matter. No more Government handouts (US taxpayer dollars) should go to the insurance companies, HMO’s, healthcare practitioners, pharmaceutical companies, researchers, think tanks, etc. Nor do we need the FDA’s approval for anything, because we know that the FDA doesn’t have our best interest at heart since the FDA has been caught doctoring reports for decades, as well as approving controversial products. Many in the private sector, have found the FDA, their findings and approval of certain products to be dangerous. For example, has anyone ever heard of Vioxx? Or Aspartame?

Dr. Woodrow C. Monte wrote:

"Methanol [one of the breakdown products of aspartame] has no therapeutic properties and is considered only as a toxicant. The ingestion of two teaspoons is considered lethal in humans" (Monte, Woodrow, "Aspartame: Methanol and the Public Health", Journal of Applied Nutrition, Vol. 36, Number 1, 1984, p. 44).

(Former US Secretary of Defense and G.D. Searle [creators of aspartame] CEO Donald Rumsfeld)

Second, competition needs to be encouraged. What happens if the Federal Government wants to build a building? They secure at least three bids for the scope of work that the Government wants to have completed. Then they choose which company they want to use from the competitive bids. That’s what the American people need. The problem in America is that the Government has a monopoly on healthcare and they are acting as though they are a boa constrictor (along with Big Pharma) and the healthcare practitioners and the patient’s are getting squeezed. We don’t have objective choices from which to choose. All of our choices have Federal Government fingerprints all over it.

If the Federal Government can provide efficient healthcare benefits and services better than the private sector, well then let the purest form of free market economics decide that. I would like to believe that the American people are smart enough to make sound decisions about what we want. We have been so conditioned in this country to not be proactive, and to wait for the Government to give us everything. It truly is sad. When the playing field is level and everyone has an equal opportunity to solicit healthcare providers and patients; then we will see the business version of Charles Darwin’s “Survival of the fittest” come into play. If there are no outrageous insurance requirements or other upfront regulatory costs for healthcare providers, taxes, fees or regulations on medicines and alternative healing methods (natural or synthetic), then we will see costs on healthcare costs drop significantly. If people want to buy medicine from Canada, that should be the individual’s decision. If those products are a fraud, then they people should be allowed to sue them and their insurance providers. Insurance companies who deal with quacks with get the message and stop insuring these types of business ventures. We don’t need the Federal Government to protect us from our own good or bad decision-making.

In short, this is simple business knowledge. If a truly free market scenario was genuinely implemented, then the quack doctors will lose their patients and get inundated with lawsuits, while the genuine, caring healthcare practitioners will thrive and be flooded with more and more customers/patients. Again, costs will drop and the difference between socialized medicine vs. private sector medicine will be crystal clear.

Third, we (the people) should focus more on establishing health rather than mending our bodies back to health. As a society, we should focus more on proactively pursuing and maintaining a healthy lifestyle, rather than finding ways to medicate symptoms. If something goes wrong with our bodies, people get stuff cut out or off, they get it tucked and stuck. Let’s get more into the preventative side rather than the symptom treating side of this equation. The United States has been deemed as one of the fattest nations on the planet (and that’s not a compliment by the way). Exercise, healthier eating, clean water and air, supplementation, cleansing, etc. can dramatically decrease healthcare costs because we can take a portion of the dollars we’re spending on junk food and things that are counterproductive to a healthy lifestyle, and purchase things that will support and promote healthy living: proactive vs. reactive. Are alternative measures producing positive results for people? What about if people made a few adjustments in their everyday life?

Examples of some helpful, healthy changes we can all make (in no particular order):

  • Try ozone therapies and supplements to oxygenate the body.
  • Try drinking distilled non-chlorinated and/or non-fluoridated water, instead of sodas and alcohol.
  • Try an effective oxygen-based intestinal cleanse.
  • Try more bio-available vitamins, minerals and other necessary supplementation.
  • Try using natural sweeteners, like: raw honey, stevia or agave nectar; while eliminating refined sugar, fructose, etc.
  • Try using shower and faucet filters.
  • Eliminate sodas, cigarettes and alcohol.
  • Maintain a healthy size and weight.
  • Try some brisk walking a few times per week.
  • Try adding more raw fruits and vegetables to your daily diet, while eliminating candy, cupcakes and chips.
  • Try baking your meats rather than frying them.
  • Add Omega 3 or fish oil to your diet; and avoid foods containing trans/hydrogenated fats, monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats.
  • Don't eat genetically modified foods.
  • Don't eat foods or use products with ingredients that you can hardly pronounce.
  • Learn self-control, eat moderate portions, or eat more small meals throughout the day.
  • Try going to bed earlier and getting more quality sleep time.
  • Try being more positive, smile, and be friendly; do not let things stress you out.
  • Try using a hands free device for your cell phone.
  • Try avoiding microwave oven use.

These are just a few helpful hints, as well as some reasonable perspective on this highly politicized topic: healthcare. We don’t have time to be politically correct because people are living without good healthcare, and dying because they don’t have good information about achieving and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Again folks, I am trying to raise your awareness concerning this issue. We can’t allow our elected leaders to take the ball and run with it, especially when they aren’t supposed to have the ball in the first place. I AM NOT anti-Government, but I AM Pro-liberty for all. If you leave me alone, I promise you that I will leave you alone. So let everyone play their designated part in this life and let’s all be happy and take care of one another; and let’s allow the Federal Government to only protect our life (not through healthcare), liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Everyone needs to become a student of history, our rights and the law. Let’s get educated, and truly informed about this issue because the Nazis and the Russians had socialized medicine programs and subjective mental health screening agendas several decades ago, and we see what happened to those countries. We can correct this mess in America, but we have to stop being sheep and stop it now. Live well!!!!!!
